Need an editor for your novel?

Do you need a hero to save you? A wizard to make your problems go away? A warrior who can face your enemies? If that’s the case, you’ve come to the wrong place my friend. I’m none of those things. I just edit novels for a living.

If, on the other hand, you need a committed editor that’s experienced and willing to treat your book as if it were his own, then you can count on me. Whether you need a thorough analysis of the entire story or a precise revision of each individual word in your manuscript, I can help you.

I pride myself on being detailed, friendly, and—perhaps more importantly—honest. I do my best to treat my clients and their books as close friends, but I won’t shy away from making difficult comments whenever necessary.

These are my available services:

Developmental Editing

Aimed to analyze the big picture of the story. Recommended for the early drafts of the manuscript, where the plot, characters, and scenes still need refinement.

Do you need your character arcs whipped into shape? Do you need more building in your worldbuilding? Then this type of editing is for you.

Ideal for when you need to blow those plot holes into pieces.
Not everything is about blowing things up or slicing enemies in half. Sometimes, sending a few clichés to jail is enough to make a text more enjoyable.

Line Editing

Aimed to analyze the writing on a paragraph and sentence level. Recommended for when the story (plot, character arcs, etc) has already been edited and doesn’t require any major changes.

Choose this editing type if you want to focus on the clarity, consistency, and accuracy of your text.

Proofreading

Aimed to be one of the last rounds of editing before publication. Recommended for manuscripts in their last stages of revision, when the main objective is to correct small errors and ensure the text’s clarity.

Choose this type of editing if you’re close to publishing and want to make sure there are no more misspellings, typos, or punctuation errors.

I wouldn’t be much of a “Typo Killer” If I didn’t…you know…kill your typos.
