About Me

Hello! My full name is Eduardo Hormazábal, but that’s a bit of a mouthful even for me, so please just call me Ed.
I’m a book enthusiast with an eye for detail and finding errors. Yes, I’m that guy who points out random misspellings while going out with friends. Since they were all tired of rolling their eyes and telling me to shut up, I set up this website in hopes that I would be more appreciated here.
On a more serious note, I’ve been working and studying the writing craft for over 5 years. I started as a casual beta-reader, and soon I discovered that I enjoyed it and people found my comments detailed and useful. From there, I became an obsessive learner and a certified editor at the Editorial Freelancers Association and CMP.
Since then, I’ve edited dozens of books and even worked for LiteracyClub.Co.Uk, where I reviewed over 3000 short stories from the students, helping them learn things like grammar and story structure.

When I’m not editing or reading, I’m usually walking the dogs, playing videogames, working out, or trying odd little things, like jumping the rope.
